This is a Charming Solid Pine Country Cottage Corner Display Cabinet.
It Was Painted a Soft Country Blue When I Acquired it. I have Since Hand Painted it Cottage White and Lightly Distressed it to Allow Bits of the Old Color to Peak Through.
I Also Replaced the Old Wooden Knobs with Vintage Style, Sparkling, Multi~Faceted Clear Crystal Knobs. (other styles and colors available including brushed nickle)
It Features a Broken Arch Pediment at the Top, Two Long Single Panel Glass Doors at the Top and Two Recessed Panel Solid Doors at the Base.
Inside there are Spacious, Roomy Shelves ~ Everyone Complete With a Groove to Display Plates! Even the Bottom Section!
Great for Storage and/or Display. Leave the Doors Open or Closed.
Gorgeous in a Dining Room or in a Large Country Cottage Style Kitchen.
It Measures 36" Across the Front and Stands 75.5 Tall to the Top of the Center Finial. From the Back Corner Out to the Side it is 25.5" Deep. It is in Very Good Structural Condition.

About My Painting

I have been painting for as long as I can remember.
My Dad owned a hardware store and I always loved going there as a child. So I guess tinkering with tools and paint is in my blood!
I actually started out painting houses. Then I sold crafts and lawn ornaments wholesale to garden centers.
And now I paint vintage furniture that nobody wants anymore.
I cannot stand to see beautiful, quality furniture tossed away just because it may be scratched up or needs a little TLC.
That is where painting comes into the picture.
It has been said that paint can hide a multitude of sins
~ and that is true ~
if it is done correctly. I do all of my own painting. Each piece is given individual care and attention ~ one piece at a time.
All of my items are Hand Brushed ~ No sloppy hit or miss spray painting ~ No rolling.
I first Brush On Two coats of an Oil Based Primer.
I then Hand Brush on a Minimum of Three Top coats.
My Top Coat Paint is Latex Based and easily wiped clean with a mild cleanser like Windex and a soft cloth.
I take a lot of pride in my painting.
I like to see fine brush strokes on the finished piece just as you would on a piece that was painted many years ago before modern techniques were developed. To me that is the true Shabby Chic look.
You will never see sloppy work on my furniture.
I use good quality paints and brushes.
I believe that Shabby Chic Furniture is quality furniture with a professional paint job and just enough distressing to give it a gently worn appearance.
I also pay attention to interiors ~ making sure they are clean and fresh smelling. If Needed, I also refinish the interiors with satin polyurethane ~ also hand brushed ~ giving the original natural graining a deep, rich appearance.
I have pieces in my own home that I painted Five years ago and the paint looks as the day it was applied! Cleaning is easy with a mild cleaner like Windex and a soft cloth.

PICK UPS

All items are available for pickup in Riverton NJ 08077. I am just Minutes East of Center City Philadelphia, Less than Two Hours South of NYC, One Hour West of Atlantic City and Two Hours North of Baltimore.

Be Sure to Bring Whatever Materials are Needed for Transport, ie, Blankets, Cushioning, etc. I Will Not Supply These Materials.

24 Hour Notice of Pick Up Time and Date Must Be Given.

Items Will Be Held Free for Up to 30 Days. After 30 Days a Weekly Rate of $12.50 Will be Charged.(see details below)

SHIPPING LARGE ITEMS

Large Items only ship once every two weeks. Please keep this is mind when bidding if you have a specific "need by" date. Please email me and I will do my best to accommodate you.

Please realize it takes a great deal of work and time to properly package and ship a large piece of furniture. I wish I could just pop it in a box and drop it at the Post Office! :-)

Sorry - I Cannot Discount Shipping on Multiple Purchases of Large Items. I Do Not Inflate My Shipping Fees. I Charge Only the Actual Shipping Fee and Packaging Cost Plus a Very Small Handling Fee.
