Here is my trusty Nakamichi cassette deck. I hadn't used it for a long time but a friend asked me to transfer some cassettes to CD so I got it out of the closet. Everything was going fine (it sounded amazingly good) but when I went to insert the last cassette, I pressed the button that opens the cassette door and the button sank into the case--flush with the front panel. I popped off the door to the cassette well to see what had come loose or broken but I really didn't know what I was looking at.
Since I listen to cassettes about once every 5 years I can't justify fixing it. But if you know how to repair Naks, here's a chance to get a classic deck in very good condition at a low price. As far as I know everything else works perfectly but since I can't open the cassette door, I can't test it and must sell it as-is.
As I mentioned, I'm the original owner so the deck comes with its original box and manual. I even found the original Nakamichi dust cloth, still in the bag.
Winning bidder to pay $15 shipping, double boxed and insured by FedEx Ground to US addresses. Thanks for looking.
