Manufacturerâ€™s Description:
Phase Difference Detection AF A contrast measurement system that uses scene detail to precisely zero in on the subject. The ultrasonic motors incorporated into every N Series lens have been hand selected to deliver the highest torque, speed and accuracy possible.

Dual Focus Control The N1 lets you switch between auto and manual focus at the push of a button. The system also allows manual focus assist in auto focus mode, as well as providing an option for auto focus assist in manual mode.

Three Focusing Modes In addition to manual focus mode, the N1 features a single AF mode that locks on the subject and continuous AF mode that continuously refocuses. Interchangeable focusing screens include a ground glass view (standard and grid screen) and a split-image focusing screen.

Five-Point Wide Array Diagonal Auto Focus The worldâ€™s first five-point focus array with peripheral focus sensors on the â€œrule of thirdsâ€ points in addition to a central cross-line sensor. Select individual focus points, adjoining sensor pairs or all five sensors. Makes positioning the subject for composition and focus easier than ever.

Exposure Automatic Bracketing Control (A.B.C.) Bracket three exposures â€“ one over, one under and one right on â€“ in half or full-stop increments.

Focus Automatic Bracketing Control (F.A.B.C.) Another worldâ€™s first. Similar to exposure bracketing, F.A.B.C. captures three images: one at the selected focus point, then one focused slightly behind and one slightly ahead of the subject, applying emphasis to different areas of the composition.

Spot, Center-Weighted and Matrix Metering A selector switch on the side of the mirror box makes it easy to choose between spot, center-weighted and matrix metering. In matrix metering, the viewfinder displays the variation from a standard center-weighted reading.

This camera and flash have been tested and are in working order.

MikesCamera.com's grading system is for the physical appearance only. All equipment has been tested by our onsite repair technicians and is working within manufacturer's specifications unless otherwise noted in the listing.
- Mint= New condition but previous owned. Generally has sat in the closet most of it's life. Optics free of scratches, fungus and oil on aperture blades.
- Mint Minus= Lower end of the Mint range with 97-99% of original condition. Generally having a few surface scratches typically on the bottom from very little use as a result of setting the camera down.
- Excellent Plus= The high end of excellent with 90-96% of the original condition. These scratches are more noticable and typically found on the back, top and bottom covers.
- Excellent= Light signs of use with 85-89% of the original condition. Minor brassing or bright marks on the corners is typically from general use but not abuse.
- Excellent Minus= Signs of use will be more apparent with 80-84% of original condition. This equipment typically has been used a little more than average but functionality is within manufacturer's specifications.
- User= Noticeable signs of use, pronounced brassing or bright marks on corners. These cameras have been typically heavily used or give the appearance of heavy use but still function well with in the manufacturer's specifications.
